Contact Lenses
Contact lenses can offer considerable advantages over spectacles providing a larger field of view with reduced magnification or minification. They are excellent for sports and can be fitted to patients with any prescription at any age.
Orthokeratology
Orthokeratology involves using specially designed contact lenses to alter the shape of the cornea in order to reduce short-sight. The aim of Orthokeratology is to be free of both contact lenses and spectacles during waking hours making it a viable alternative to refractive surgery.
Dyslexia Eye Tests
Patients with dyslexia often present with symptoms of eye strain or headache produced by visual distortions such as movement, fading or blurring of print. Several specialist tests are required in addition to the eye examination so that advice can be given on treatment modalities.
Ophthalmic Photography & Topography
State of the art digital imaging equipment enables our clinicians to monitor microscopic changes in appearance of the front, middle or back of the eye. Topographical analysis provides a map of the front surface of the eye and can be used to monitor tiny changes in shape and assist in fitting complex contact lenses.
